Neither of these ladies could make me warm up to this unappealing character.ģ) Turning Sean and Christian's son, Matt McNamara, into a criminal called "The Mime Bandit" (WTF?). Unfortunately, FX's Nip/Tuck, which began back in 2003, made a few wrong turns during its fifth and sixth seasons that caused me to jump ship:ġ) Having Liz Cruz, the lesbian anesthesiologist (played by the wonderful Roma Maffia), sleep with and marry the womanizing Christian Troy, who then dumped her after learning that he wasn't going to die from cancer.Ģ) Introducing a psycho new love interest for Sean McNamara named Teddy Rowe, who was played by two different actresses, Katee Sackhoff and Rose McGowan. I've always tried to hang in there with favorite TV shows to the bitter end, but sometimes it's just painful to watch a series crash and burn. So the sordid, twisted saga of McNamara/Troy came to an end last night - about two seasons too late in my opinion.
